New Jersey is a great place to spend New Year’s Eve.
The rich diversity of culture means that there are hundreds of different events for you to choose from this New Year’s Eve.
At Royal Coachman, we’ve been providing luxury transport around the New Jersey area since 1969, so it is fair to say we’ve seen a few New Year’s Eve celebrations.
This is our guide to spending New Year’s Eve in New Jersey:
Hoboken Bar & Grill
The Hoboken Bar & Grill is known for hosting great parties. This New Year’s Eve they’ve got a 5-hour open bar with a complimentary champagne toast at the end of the evening, along with a dinner buffet.
New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise
Setting off from Lincoln Harbor Marina, the Spirit of New Jersey will take a three-hour cruise to New York, showing off the famous New York skyline. This incredible event has a dinner buffet, a live DJ, amazing singing waiters and waitresses and an open bar. Oh, and if that isn’t enough there is an incredible fireworks display at the Statue of Liberty.
New Year’s Eve at The Comedy Shoppe
If live music and dancing aren’t really your thing, why not head over to the Comedy Shoppe? The night includes a comedy show with Mark Riccadonna, KP Burke and Joe Conte as well as a 4-course dinner and an open bar.
New Year’s Eve at The Grand Arcade: A Black-Tie Masquerade Celebration
This promises to be a really spectacular event. A Masquerade ball with a three and half hour open bar and two renowned DJs “spinning all night long”.
New Year’s @ Bar Anticipation
Nine hours of entertainment from BIG BANG BABY and DJ Mike Nice! If that isn’t enough entertainment we can’t help you! They’ve also got a two-hour open bar and a giant hot and cold open buffet.
Whiskey Bar & Bistro
This is the Whiskey Bar & Bistro’s first New Year’s Eve, so they have a point to prove. They’ve got veteran New Jersey DJ’s Kirk Lopez and Lugghead as well as an open bar and a full buffet.
Head Over to Atlantic City
Atlantic City is one of the best places in the country to spend New Year’s Eve. Every casino has a featured night and the boardwalk will be buzzing with the NYE atmosphere. “NYEONTHEPIER” has 3000 guests attending and according to the website will have 20,000 pieces of confetti, what more could you want?
Head Over To New York City
The other obvious choice is to head on over to New York City. A two-hour drive has to be a consideration for anyone planning their New Year’s Eve around here. You can watch the ball drop at Times Square or head to one of the thousands of parties around the city.
