You can actually drink an alcoholic beverage while driving in Costa Rica just as long as you don’t imbibe so much that you become inebriated, according to Smarter Travel. If you overdo it, though and have a blood alcohol level of more than 0.75, you face incarceration.
In the meantime, you are not allowed to drink or eat anything, or you will be subject to a fine. That kind of rule wouldn’t likely get much support in the United States, where drive-through fast food restaurants supply us with munchies on the go.
Russia is home to some cleanliness-loving lawmakers. They will charge you approximately 2,000 rubles if you drive around in a dirty car.
When driving on Germany’s Autobahn, you are considered to be a lawbreaker if you run out of gas and have to pull over to the side of the road. The government says that since such you can easily keep gas in your tank, there is no excuse for running out of fuel on this fast highway.
If you need to wear corrective lenses when driving, make sure to bring an extra pair of glasses with you when visiting Spain. That sounds like a good idea, since it’s based on the same reasoning as the need to carry a spare tire with you in case of emergency.
